Alejandro del Valle-Lattanzio Born in Bogotá in 1986 (Colombia). Studies sculpture at the Academy of fine Arts, Vienna in the class of Pr. Heimo Zobernig and electro-acoustic composition at the University of music and representative Arts, Vienna. His work consists of music, films, videos, plastics, drawings, animation and improvisation. Camilo Del Valle Lattanzio Born in Bogotá. Began the study of economics at the University of Heidelberg. Nowadays studies philosophy and comparative literature at the University of Vienna, and works at the institute for comparative literature of this university. His main areas of research and interest are post-structuralism, contemporary philosophy, aesthetics, literary theory and Latin American literature. Claudia Sandoval Romero Born in Cali (Colombia). Journalist by the University of Valle, Colombia, Master in Multimedia Arts by the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil, Candidate for the title of Master in Critical Studies, Academy of Fine Arts, Vienna, and Candidate for the title of Doctor of Philosophy, University of Applied Arts, Vienna. Daniela Brill Estrada Born in Bogotá in 1989. Currently studying trans-arts in the University of Applied arts Vienna and fine arts at the National University Colombia. Her work is defined as “playing with science”.

“Ensemble” is a printed magazine about art, which aims to map and analyze what is being done in the field of art widely, within the city of Vienna.
Through an open call the students of the Academy of Fine Arts, the Institute of Philosophy of the University of Vienna, the University of Applied Arts and the University for Music and Representative Arts, will be invited to produce texts that reflect about the methods and aims of producing art.
This way, an analysis about the philosophical reflection on the art production will be compiled. And at the same time a debate about the place that art occupies in the contemporary society will be considered.
The main goals of “Ensemble” are: to improve a debate about the methods and the place that art occupies in the contemporary society. As well as create a net of productive relations between the students of the four Universities.
We invite to participate in the first edition of the magazine and its release that will take place at the Academy of Fine Arts, Vienna, in December.
To participate it is necessary to send a text (between 2 and 5 pages with images) to the email ensemblemagazine@gmail.com in German or English until October the 20th, as well as a short biography of up to 500 characters.
The editors of the magazine are Alejandro del Valle-Lattanzio, AKBILD and University of Music and Representative Arts, Camilo Del Valle Lattanzio, University of Vienna, Claudia Sandoval Romero, AKBILD and University of Applied Arts, and Daniela Brill Estrada, University of Applied Arts.
